Sell Cartier Watch
The Cartier watch is the brainchild of an apprentice, Louis-François Cartier, who took over the shop from his master in 1847 and later started making watches in 1859. This led to the French revolution of the timepiece industry and now we have Cartier competing for neck to neck to the watch manufacturers from Switzerland. Cartier is appreciated all over the world in the timepiece community. The Rolex might hold the title of the best luxury watches, but Cartier is the leader in the fashionable watches category. Cartier offers a case in every possible size with a number of available shapes. This is the reason why Cartier is not limited to a selected audience with a specific case size and shape preference. The vintage Cartier watches are among the most popular for the collectors, especially the earlier Santos models.

A Brief History of Cartier
Louis-François Cartier, the apprentice who took over his master’s business is the man behind the brand Cartier. Lois handed the mantle to his son Alfred, who moved the business to the prestigious rue de la Paix. Alfred had three sons, two embarked on a journey to make Cartier a well-received brand in Europe, and the other stayed at home, worked on its design and made it a success in the French market.
The first successful line for the Cartier was the Santos, launched in 1904. This model served as the foundation of the design Cartier used for several other of its watches in the 20th century. Then, we saw the revolutionary Cartier Tank in 1919. The design was inspired by the Renault FT tanks that caught the eyes of Louis during an event. It took another 38 years for the next big launch from Cartier. Baignoire series featuring the unique oval case was launched in 1957. The later-half of the century was dominated mostly by the Cartier Panthere and the Tank series with French Tank and Tank American the most notable designs. Now, we have the critically acclaimed Cartier Roadster with us from the year 2002 with an amazing interchangeable strap.
Why Cartier is a Big Success in the Timepiece Community?
Cartier is a brand linked with the royal families for over a century now. From the French king Edward VII to the Sultan of Pasha, various royal people have worn a Cartier on their wrist. This is a major reason why the attention of people is drawn towards it. The movements of these watches are exceptional with the likes of advanced 9452MC caliber. But, the coolest feature we have seen is the ID-One and ID-Two, with the futuristic high-end calibre. What makes this watch unique is the no service requirement for it, ever!
Timepiece Enthusiasts on Cartier
Cartier is appreciated all over the world in the timepiece community. The Rolex might hold the title of the best luxury watches, but Cartier is the leader in the fashionable watches category. Cartier offers a case in every possible size with a number of available shapes. This is the reason why Cartier is not limited to a selected audience with a specific case size and shape preference. The vintage Cartier watches are among the most popular for the collectors, especially the earlier Santos models.
Best Selling Cartier Models
Cartier watches have always been in high demand. When it comes to the bestselling Cartier model, the Santos tops the list year after year. Drive De Cartier was another successful creation from the French watch manufacturer, targeting the sports watches market. The Vintage Tank watches are still the favorite of a majority of timepiece collectors. The Tank American and French Tank are two of the bestselling Cartier Tanks models.
The Second-Hand Market for the Cartier
The vintage timepiece market for the Cartier watches is ruled by the earlier Santos models. Consider yourself very lucky if you own a limited edition Santos before World War II. The modern watches can be a great investment for collectors with a guaranteed good return. The Cartier large ballon bleu pave diamond made from 18k white gold is the most expensive modern Cartier watch in the market.
Things to Remember While Selling Your Cartier
While selling a Cartier watch, you need to keep in mind a few things to make sure you end up with the price that your prestigious watch deserves. You should always keep the papers and box of the watch intact. These small things can play an important role while deciding the price tag of your watch. Now, enlist the product details and with keeping in mind the condition of the watch, try to come up with a final price tag. You should consider taking help from some friend or an expert while deciding the price. Now that you have decided on the final price for the watch, you need to decide how you want to meet the potential buyers. Online selling is a convenient method with the price tag of your choice. The offline dealer should be your preference if you want some quick cash without the trouble of putting an ad online. Another option is to put your watch on auction, online or offline. This can sometimes yield unexpected returns. Do not get influenced or make a deal with someone with a doubtful personality. The watch is worth a fortune, this is why we recommend you to always go for an authentic and trusted buyer.
